Day 4 - Chocolate Treats, Mini Lollipops and Peace N' Love stickers!
We have so much fun this time of year!! As soon as I picked the boys up from school this evening, they say: Mommy's it's day FOUR! We gotta do our calendar and treats!! LOL
We had some comfort food for dinner: Chicken Alfredo. Nick ate two whole plates! Then our deal was we practice reading BEFORE we all played Ninja Action Games. Nathan is doing so well. I really like the Hooked on Phonics products. Money well spent.
These are the times I realize that although I'm not froo froo, I'm still "such a girl"... Ninja action swords and kicks... ugh. THEY loved it.
The mommy in me thought it was a bit too "violent" even though there was no blood, etc. Nathan has played it at school in computer lab. (Hence the demand to play at home.)
THIS is more my speed. www.abcmouse.com Bahahaha... Good thing the boys are "eclectically trained" they enjoyed the best of both. After our half hour of cyber fun, we got 'em cleaned up with Wen soft hair (LOOOOVE that stuff) and into the bed for a little coconut soy chocolate bar bedtime treat...and a shoe fitting.
These ever-growing boys and their giant feet are going to make me work a third job. All the shoes I bought at the beginning of the school year are getting snug. I remeasured and low and behold they're both a size up. So a 1 for Nathanater now and a 13.5 for the Nickster. Gosh they look huge, but fit perfect with socks.
