{{{{{ Tough Guys Wear PINK!! }}}}}
...Yea, That's Right!
Don't mind the "pink" in his expression...(he wasn't feeling so hot, but we'll touch base on that momentarily). Nathan and friends, both boys and girls were all pretty in pink ready for the PINKALICIOUS show on Friday! Wearing the color pink wasn't a challenge for us, we just "boy-ed" it up a bit and viola! Nathan picked out his new pink chucks, and mom whipped up a matching tie! He was super excited (and quite fashionable) for the event. Pinkalicious - The Musical was playing on stage at the Rose Performance Arts Theater here in town. He's been singing the show tunes since then! It's a riot!
The story was based on the popular Pinkalicious children's booksby Victoria Kann. "Pinkalicious takes her passion for pink too far when adding extra coloring to her mother's cupcakes leads to a severe case of Pinkititis – a condition that turns her pink from head to toe. It's a dream come true for Pinkalicious, but an important lesson is learned when her rosy hue turns red and the only cure for "too much of a good thing" is vegetables!"
So, on to the "under the weather part"...This tough guy didn't want to miss the show! He was a bit congested and not so himself but wanted to go anyway. After showtime...there was a downhill spiral. We all know what happens when Nathan gets congested... the steroids and nebulizer come out to play. So, we paid a visit to the Pediatrician and this time... they finally want us to see an Asthma and Allergy specialists. Appointment pending... The poor guy just checks out of health for a few days of recuperation and bounces back to normal. It was a tough friday...but hey, Tough Guys wear PINK! ...and tough guys get well soon! He was back to himself by Sunday!

Hello! I love this tshirt! Your son is so cute!
I work with a theatre in Chicago who is doing Pinkalicious right now (www.emeraldcitytheatre.com) and I was wondering if you'd mind if I linked to your blog on our website? I would love to repost the photo of your son and the tshirt, but I wanted to ask first.
Thanks! - Eleanor
