I've had my hands completely FULL this week with these two! Dad went away on a business trip and these two made sure to keep me busy! In all, I had a week full of tardiness...thankfully, I'm still employed! A week of the pickiest eating ever...the longest bedtimes ever...the most times getting up at night ever, the crankiest mornings ever...and the biggest instances of DOUBLE TROUBLE...boys getting into trouble ever! Nick had eye allergy symptoms and the pediatrician prescribed eyedrops. I seriously had to use strength and military tactics (and even help from big brother) to get his doses in. That kid is strong! Daddy accidentally left home with Nathan's beloved Hiro train in the car. Every single day and night we had to have a chat about "Where's Hiro, finding Hiro and Daddy being away at work." I seriously considered driving to the airport garage to retrieve the train out of the car...SERIOUSLY! How on earth do single working parents of multiples do it? Seriously...how? I want to know ALL of your secrets! Is it family/support system help? or are you just super heroes? *I'm TIRED just thinking about it!*
On Wednesday afternoon, our new maple tree was delivered and planted in the backyard. As soon as we got home, the boys headed to the backyard to check it out.
I kept the patio door open to keep an eye on them and stayed in the kitchen to start on dinner. Any parent knows there are two sounds that trigger your "What's going on?" radar... total silence and TOO much carrying on/laughing/screaming! So...when I heard all the LOUD screaming laughs I headed out
Yep! I can tell by these particular facial expressions, that they are guilty!! Whatever the crime may be... Which I soon found out to be them: peaking through the fence, calling/barking/laughing at the neighbors little dogs and then running full force away from the fence when they came running toward them!
