The boys experienced their very first circus show a few Saturdays ago, back on the 27th. The 81st annual Tangier Shrine Circus, to be exact. Their interest yo-yo'd a bit during the performances, but I would say the animals were the best in their eyes. Rod and I were personally impressed by an elephant balancing all four feet entirely on a ball and a "magical transformations" clothes changing act that was pretty cool. Apparently, we also got the opportunity to see and experience the world's ONLY female cannonball too.
I didn't get many, if any good shots with my point n' shoot. Next time, I'll be sure to bring the heavy "photographic artillery." After the circus, we attended the circus fair and had some fun with face paints, rides and animal observations!
...and they went home with a cool light-up souvenier! Come to think, where are those things? LOL
